The Best Middle Day At Cardigan

OB

September 28 2022

In the morning, we woke bright and early to a beautiful day and the smell of breakfast. We roused ourselves and headed downstairs for a delicious breakfast. Breakfast wasn’t ready yet, so we amused ourselves with games and socialization. Once breakfast was ready, we gorged ourselves on muffins, eggs, sausages, and home fries. Afterwards, we met with our groups, and headed out onto cardigan mountain. We stopped at various places to sketch and admire the scenery. There were some very steep parts. But we managed to make our out of the northern hardwood forest and into the boreal zone. The boreal zone is an area where only specific plants grow, like evergreen trees and evergreen plants. Also known as the top of firescrew. It was quite cold up on firescrew. But our real target was up on the suddenly very close mount cardigan. A few more scrambles and we were at the top. We had made it. We took another hour and made our way back to the AMC lodge. For the next hour we free time, then dinner. We had a couple of stories and then we went to bed.

Human/Environment Interaction The trails around Cardigan are a good example of human environment interaction because they affect all of the animals living on Cardigan and direct the winds through it like a wind tunnel. The mountains are a good example of environment human interaction because they force the trails into certain areas of the mountain.
